It was a glorious moment on Monday 19th, June 2017 as Spiritual fathers across every divides in Onna and beyond gathered in their numbers to pray and return thanks to God who answereth all prayers.
The convener of the prayer summit, Apostle Thompson Etuk along side other God’s servant thank God for choosing their son, Gov Udom Emmanuel amongst many to steer the ship of governance in a moment like this noting that it was the will of God only for him to lead the State as the Governor.
According to the book of Psalms 110:2, the man of God admonished that Governor Udom Emmanuel will continue to rule for eight years as the Governor of Akwa Ibom State even in the mist of his enemies because it was God that choose him.
Prayer session to pray against every ancestral degree against the person and the office of the Governor (Deacon Udom Emmanuel) were taken by various ranking men of God in Onna who includes amongst many, Bishop Idiok, CAN Chairman, PFN Chairman and other invited men of God.
The Transition Chairman of Onna who was also the host, Dr Joshua Ndoho was represented by the Secretary of Council, Hon Nkanang Nkanang thank the convener and all the clergy men for the vision to constantly pray for the Governor noting that it was timely to gather all the spiritual fathers to pray for their son the Governor. The Chairman however promise to make the prayer summit a monthly routine till 2019 where the Governor will be reelected into office for a 2nd term in 2019.
