The heavens decended on the land in Etinan Local Government on Sunday, December 26, 2021 as Godfada led the creme de la cream of the gospel music industry, friends and the community to praise God at the 15th edition of ‘I Believe in Etinan Charity Concert’.
Joining Godfada and the I believe in Etinan crew was award winning gospel musicians like Boby friga, Emem Baseda,Min Solomon, The Davasols, BB Benson, Oku Pius and a host of other artistes. On hand to give the concert a dose of fun with christocentric humour was General Odey, who made sure there was no dull moment.
Dignitaries who graced the concert were the Special Assistant to the Governor on Entertainment, Hon. David Sergeant (Utang Akwa Ibom) his Social Orientation counterpart, Hon. Ekpeno Gold and the SA to the Governor on Talent Hunt, Mr. Emmanuel Owuala. Members of the clergy were not left out, as the concert had Presiding bishop, TGFM, Bishop Dr Enobong Essien, Rev and Rev Mrs Precious Blessed, Pastor Prince George, Dr, Mbomabasi Udofia and a host of others.
Also in attendance was the village head of Ikot Ebo, Eteidung Dennis Akpan, Special Assistant to Governor on Transport, Elder Udo Ekwere & Spouse, Apostle Prince George & Wife, Pastor M A Ekpo from The Apostolic Church, Ikot Ekpene, Hon. Stella a Councilor from Uyo,Apostle & Pst Mrs Precious Blessed amongst other eminent personalities.
Asides the electric praise,heart rending worship and display of dances to the glory of God. The convener also distributed relief materials (bags of rice,wrappers and books to indigent attendees at the concert comprising widows,women and school children.
The convener of the 15-year-old gospel festival, Godfada Uko used the occasion to immensely thank guests and supporters for joining to make the outing a success, in a bid to continually improve the worship experience year on year.
