The much yearnings and cries for a good portable drinking water by the indigenes and residents of Ikot Udo Esang was yesterday laid to rest, when Mr Harrison Ekpo, State PDP Secretary rehabilitates and donated to his community a borehole with a Generating set to give power to the borehole.
In reacting to what Mr Harrison has done, the youth leader of the community appreciated his love and effort towards the community which according to him has been neglected and robbed of basic social amenities like a drinking water.
Speaking with the donor, Mr Ekpo maintained that the only reason why God choose them as leaders is to timely reach out to his people by way of supporting them in whatever is lacking in the community. He also thanked Governor Udom Emmanuel who constantly inspired them to give to the society no matter how difficult it is.
“As God continues to bless us and give us the grace, we will continue to give back to the people without being deterred by critics and sentiments” – Ekpo
