In recognition of her contributions to humanity through her humanitarian platform FEYReP in the areas of Family Empowerment , Promotion of Healthcare, Welfare, Economic Development, Human Rights and Educational Enrichment for the women and Girl-child in the state, Akwa Ibom State Governor’s wife, Her Excellency, Mrs. Martha Udom Emmanuel has been bestowed with an award of ‘THE HEART OF A CHAMPION ‘ by the International Human Rights Commission.
The honour came at the ongoing United Nations Conference on Entity for Gender Equality and Women Empowerment holding at the UN headquarters in New York.
