Former Aviation Minister, Chief Femi Fani Kayode has arrived Uyo the Akwa Ibom State capital.
Kayode who has been on special visits to select States of the federation for good governance assessment tour, is expected to go round locations of projects executed by Governor Udom Emmanuel in Akwa Ibom state.
On arrival on Thursday night, he was received by the State Governor, Mr. Udom Emmanuel at the Hilltop Mansion which he later described as the most beautiful Government House he has ever been to in Nigeria.
Fani-Kayode who took to his social media page said of his arrival at Uyo, “It is absolutely magnificent and quite overwhelming.”
He furthered, “Had a restful evening and prepared to have a late night meeting with my friend and brother Governor Emmanuel Udom.
Describing his visit as first ever to Akwa Ibom, he said, “Glad to be in this wonderful town and state (this is my first time) and tomorrow I will spend some time inspecting some projects after a morning meeting with the Governor in his office.
He is expected to address journalists after his tour of project sites executed by Governor Udom Emmanuel.
The former minister is likely going to visit several industries, roads and other infrastructure that dot the landscape of Akwa Ibom since the advent of the current administration in 2015
