After an impressive eight-year term, Ifreke Nseowo, the current Chancellor of COOPA, will be stepping down. Nseowo has been a shining example of visionary leadership, bringing excellence to his role as Chancellor.

Let’s meet the candidates running for Chancellor of COOPA.
There are only two contenders vying for the top spot: Nelson NseAbasi and Utitofon Morgan Ukpong. Interestingly, both candidates possess exceptional creativity, adaptability, and impressive research and communication skills.
NseAbasi, the pioneer Secretary General of COOPA from 2015 to 2023, is a journalist, publicist, and talent manager. With a strong background in media and digital marketing, NseAbasi has proven himself as a skilled professional.
He holds certifications such as the Jobberman Softskill Certificate (2021) and the British Council Certificate in African Creative Economy (2022), just to mention few. NseAbasi is also a member of the Institute of Strategic Entrepreneurs of Nigeria and the Nigerian Youth Chamber of Commerce, among other notable affiliations.
His 7-point agenda includes important areas such as Welfare, Connecting the Dots, Bridge Building, Human Capacity Development, Enterprise and Entrepreneurship Development, Partnerships, and Asset Acquisition. NseAbasi aims to build upon COOPA’s remarkable achievements within the online community.
On the other hand, Utitofon Morgan Ukpong, a pioneer of online publishing in Akwa Ibom State, has been making waves since 2013 with his blog named SITIPPE. With a nomination for the prestigious AKWA Awards for Best Blog, Morgan has proven himself as a skilled and tech-savvy writer.
Morgan possesses a deep understanding of industry trends and insights. His proficiency with MS Office and his familiarity with various social media platforms and marketing techniques make him a valuable candidate.
If elected as Chancellor of COOPA, Morgan plans to equip his colleagues with the necessary knowledge and tools to excel in the digital world. He aims to help them strategically find jobs and clients worldwide.
