Akwa Ibom State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Charles Udoh is set for conferment with Honorary Fellowship Award, FIIM by the Institute of Information Management, IIM –AFRICA, being the most prestigious award of the Institute of Information Management, Nigeria.
The award is in recognition of the outstanding performance of the Commissioner for Information, his remarkable achievements, exemplary leadership skills and efficient management of the information machinery of government.
According to the President and Chairman of the Governing-Council of the Institute of Information Management, IIM-Africa, Amb (Dr.) Oyedokun Ayodeji Oyewole, FIIM, the investiture ceremony will be held during the 13th Induction/Investiture of members and Fellows of the institute scheduled to hold tomorrow Saturday, 7th July 2018 at Roshmor Hotel, Lagos Street in Ewet Housing Estate, Uyo by 10 o’clock in the morning.
At the occasion, the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Charles Udoh is also expected to present the Keynote Address on the theme- “Boosting Economic Activities and Operations through Quality Information”.
To this end, special invitation is given to the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Information and Strategy, Pastor Praise Okon, Management and Staff of Ministry of Information and Strategy, Heads of government –owned Information/media outfits, Governor’s Media Aides, Bloggers, stakeholders in the information sector, friends and allies of Ministry of Information and Strategy and in particular, the State Information Boss, Charles Udoh as well as public spirited individuals.
