Additionally, the day featured critical presentations, reviews, and strategy sessions focused on upcoming flagship initiatives, including the Power Summit, Tourism Summit, and Corporate Investment Summit. Participants also deliberated on  a strengthening Public Service Rules and reinforcing ethical standards across government institutions.

In a demonstration of his commitment to running a government that works beyond rhetoric, Governor Umo Eno also took out time during the retreat to convene a meeting of the Finance and General Purpose Committee (FGPC). The session was dedicated to reviewing and considering proposals on key projects and other initiatives requiring Executive Council approvals.

This move, which blended policy retreat with real-time governance action, underscores the governor’s focus on efficiency, continuity, and responsiveness in decision-making.

With robust participation, renewed commitment, and measurable outcomes already emerging, the retreat is expected to usher in a more synchronized, accountable, and delivery-focused Executive Council, fully equipped to drive the ARISE Agenda to fruition.
