The Bishop of The African Church, Uyo Central Diocese, His Lordship Rt Rev’d James Bamidele expresses joy that, The African Church is still waxing stronger in worshipping God, witnessing for Him, looking after the welfare of her congregation with unlimited expansion.
Bishop Bamidele said this on a telephone chat shortly after his evening prayers.
He revealed that, The African Church introduced drumming into worship and fought for black people’s independence from the white oppression
Going further, His Lordship indicated that The church has been able to overcome many challenges, and still forge ahead. Ministers are moving forward and the members. Are being blessed.
He expressed his joy over the Anniversary celebration of The Church, in his words.
” am happy for the achievements of The African Church from all fronts ranging from spiritual development to christian worship, self financing, educational development, etc “.
When asked about Rev’d Richard Peters, Rt Rev’d James Bamidele described Rev’d Peters as a young, dynamic and purposeful minister. Who sees possibilities where others see failure. He is focused no matter the situation. He is a determined priest who see that all is well with his members. He is given to evangelism and welfare of his members, the Bishop said, he invite all to join him to his Thanksgiving service organized to Mark his Priesthood Ordination on Sunday 22nd OCT 2017 @ THE AFRICAN CHURCH 3ASSAM STR EKET BY 9AM.
On the final note, the Bishop call on members of The African Church and Christians all over the world to be focused in evangelism. Winning souls for Christ, jettison bitterness, tribalism, unhealthy rivalry and other negative vices that exist in the church and society today.
Advising all to be the light to the world, salt to the earth and blessing to all.
He Congratulate His Eminence Dr. Emmanuel Udofia the Primate of The African Church the Leadership at the National, Province, Diocesan levels and indeed all members.
He prayed for more blessings upon the Church, Akwa Ibom State and Nigeria.
