Eminence Oil unites Uruan for Udom

The MD/CEO of Eminence Oil and Chemicals, Mr Emmanuel Okon has taken the campaign for re-election of Governor Udom Emmanuel for a second term come 2019 to the people of Uruan Local Government Area.

Mr Okon who was very emphatic reminded the people that nobody should make any mistake of looking anyother way than Udom Emmanuel for sustainable development and rosperity in Akwa Ibom State.

He stated this at the weekend while performing the kick-off for All Stars Football Club unity tournament that is currently ongoing in Uruan.

Mr Emmanuel Okon, an aspirant for Uyo Federal Constituency seat come 2019 charged members of the all stars football club to support governor Udom Emmanuel whose tenure will end in 2023 so that more roads and other developmental projects can come to Uruan.

He also canvassed support for his National Assembly aspiration and called on Uruan all stars to support him for effective representation of Uyo Federal Constituency come 2019. He promised to continue in his support for them and sustain the club to function properly the way it should be.

Responding, the Leader of Uruan All Stars, Rev. Favour Okono thanked Mr Okon for his support and show of love for his own people, and assured him that Uruan as a people have already taken a decision to support Governor Udom Emmanuel for 8 years, and nothing can change that.

He commended Mr Okon for the supportive role he has played in the lives of many people as a private person, adding that with all he has done so far, he deserved to be given the mandate to represent Uyo Federal Constituency come 2019.

He maintained that being one of their own in Uruan, the people of Uruan has no other aspirant apart from Mr Emmanuel Okon for Federal House of Representatives come 2019, and has already set up coordinators to mobilize for him and the governor across all political wards in Uruan.

He further explained that their action was in recognition of the fact that Mr Emmanuel Okon is a son of Uruan, and they cannot support another when their own son is in the race. Adding that the support of Uruan people for Mr Okon is non-negotiable.
