AKWA IBOM STATE COMMISSIONER FOR INFORMATION, MR CHARLES UDOH ON SOLIDARITY VISIT TO AKWA UNITED FC AT TRAINING CAMP

 

Akwa Ibom State, Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Charles Udoh, today, elated the spirit of Akwa United football club and indeed all football fans in the state when he paid the team a spontaneous solidarity visit during their training session at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.

The Information Boss was received by the Chairman of Akwa United Football Club, Elder Paul Bassey and other technical crew members of the FC.

Charles Udoh, a former player of the football club, said, the solidarity visit was to appreciate the team for its impressive performance in the past matches and strengthen the players to remain focused as they prepare for future encounter..

The Sports-loving Commissioner extended his hands of fellowship to the Football Club and pledged his support and assistance to the team at all times

He used the occasion to commend Governor Udom Emmanuel for the numerous achievements in the sports sector which has boosted sports development in the state such as the maintenance of good pitches for trainings such as the one presently used by the Akwa United FC.

Receiving the Stste Information Boss on behalf of the team, the Chairman of Akwa United Football Club, Elder Paul Bassey thanked the Commissioner for the visit and all his other numerous largesse and support to the club.

Recall that the Commissioner for Information and Strategy Charles Udoh had presented football kits and finacial largesse to Akwa United Football Club in furtherance of the career and welfare of the team
