Ibom Airline is changing positively the narratives of the aviation industry in Nigeria.
This is achieved with the economical 3 times daily flight schedules of the Ibomair.
Akwa Ibom State Commissioner of Information and Strategy, Charles Udoh KSJ, made these known yesterday in Uyo, during a live interview with AKBC TV on the programme – “Center Point”.
Charles Udoh while unfolding the merits of Ibomair Line over other commercial airlines currently operating in Nigeria said, Ibomair gears at making daily air transportation to and from Uyo to Lagos and Abuja more economical as it reduces cost of business transaction across the two major cities with its convenient flight schedules.
He explained that, any passenger flying Ibomair to either Lagos or Abuja from Uyo will save hotel bills of having to sleep over to catch an early morning flight the following day, as there will always be an evening flight back to Uyo after the day’s business transaction in any of those two cities and vice versa for those flying into Uyo from Lagos or Abuja.
Assuring of daily morning, afternoon and evening flights by Ibomair on commencement of commercial flights opperations, the State Information Boss disclosed that, each of the 3 Ibomair Aircrafts has a minimum of 90- passenger capacity of which one will fly to Abuja, one to Lagos and the other on standby for any subsequent flight.
Udoh urged the people not to be skeptical about the sustainability of Ibomair Line and drew their attention to the thriving aviation business in Ethiopia, South Africa, Britain, Singapore, Kenya and other places expressing with confidence that, the industry will definitely thrive in Akwa Ibom State, as government has put in place a professional and skilled consultant to run the Ibomair line.
Recalling the massive support to Governor Udom Emmanuel at the last gubernatorial elections, the state Information helmsman expressed deep gratitude to the people and beckoned on all to join hands with the Governor to build a brighter future for the state with focus on “Project Akwa Ibom”
