The Ibom Football Joggling Competition organized by DDP Galaxy Entertainment, in partnership with the Ministry of Culture & Tourism, as part of the Ibom Christmas Celebration 2021 activities, officially kicked off on Saturday, December 11, 2021.
The kick off of the project with the preliminary screening was done on Saturday, December 11, 2021 by 4pm at Ibom Christmas Village by the Akwa Ibom State Commissioner for Culture & Tourism, Rt. Hon. Orman Esin, and it witnessed an entry of football talents who displayed their dexterity in the joggling of the round leather ball.
Ibom Football Joggling Competition 2021 is an initiative of Guinness World Record Holder, Harrison Chinedu (Football Doctor) put together by DDP Galaxy Entertainment offering N250,000 (Two Hundred & Fifty Thousand Naira) as star prize to the winner, while the 2nd and 3rd goes home with N150,000 and N100,000 respectively.
In his remark, the CEO, DDP Galaxy Entertainment, Sir Obioma Onyeama reaffirmed his willingness to continually partner with the state government in other lofty initiatives regarding talent and youth development in the state.
He said the competition, which seeks to discover more stars with the creative skill of ball joggling and balancing, is Harrison’s way of giving back to the society, starting in Akwa Ibom State.
After the second stage, the finalists will make it to the grand finale on Sunday, December 26th (Boxing Day) where the winners will emerge.
